3D Engraving
Crystal laser engraving is made using a special laser that focuses its concentrated beam of light to a particular point on the surface of the crystal. Each bright point in the image is printed in the final crystal piece.
The technology required a "high-powered laser" on each three-dimensional coordinates. Once the beam reaches the focal point, the powerful laser pulse makes a tiny void or inclusion inside the crystal. Then the laser move to the next coordinate, and then the next and so on. As a result, although points are created to reproduce the design deep within the crystal.
A laser beam is non-invasive, so marks or scratches are left on the surface of the crystal. When viewed from any angle, an intricate design is viewed from any angle, an intricate design is viewed from any three-dimensional sculpture.
